Standard Operating Procedure

    Register your business structure with the Washington Secretary of State if you're an LLC or corporation.

    Apply through the Dept. of Licensing Business Licensing Service, selecting the state and city endorsements you need.

    Step 3

    Pay the base fee plus any endorsement-specific fees at submission.

    Step 4

    DOL reviews your application and issues your Business License once approved.

    Step 5

    Renew your license annually through the same Business Licensing Service portal.
